I’m a technologist at heart who has grown into an entrepreneurial cyber leader and practice builder, with 25 years of experience helping organisations deal with real-world cyber risk. I started out as a coder and tinkerer, and I’ve never really stopped. I still like getting close to the detail, understanding how systems behave, and working through problems hands-on. That technical grounding, combined with strong business acumen, allows me to work effectively with developers, CEOs, and everyone in between, translating complexity into clear, commercially sound decisions.I bring a high-energy, direct, and approachable style. I enjoy working with people, understanding what they’re accountable for, and helping them make decisions that hold up under pressure — especially when things aren’t going to plan.My experience spans a range of cyber disciplines, including complex cyber transformations, incident response, and the implementation of cyber technologies in live environments. It’s given me a broad, practical view of risk and delivery. I focus on what works in practice, not what looks good on paper.Putting cyber aside for a moment, I genuinely enjoy collaborating with people to mentor, build, and try new ideas. Seeing others succeed gives me the buzz.
