ABOUT JASON GIUST

I recently completed an assignment as the COO at a fintech startup called Pure Math LLC where we were using AI (specifically LLM\'s) and game theory to develop novel trading signals. Prior to this, I was enrolled as a Data Science and Business Analytics student at The University of Texas at Austin, where I learned Python, Tableau, and industry-specific analytics through hands-on projects. My goal was to leverage my data skills and domain knowledge to provide insights and solutions for business problems and have found that opportunity at Pure Math LLC!Before enrolling in this program, I was a Mathematics Teacher and a Baseball Coach at Indianapolis Public Schools for seven years. I supported over students and their guardians with data-driven academic goals, progress monitoring, and remediation plans. I also collectively received the Teacher of the Year award in 2021 for my work during the Covid-19 pandemic. Additionally, I have 15 years of experience in various trading and operational roles with Fidelity Investments, where I developed expertise in customer relationship management, fixed income sales, and service and trading. I am passionate about applying my analytical, communication, and mentoring skills to make a positive impact in the world.
