About Jason Fritz
My career path post-college has been focused on audio video technology and the design, deployment, and support of end-to-end audio/video solutions. I enjoy continuous learning and working with talented people to create dynamic experiences using technology. During my time with Daktronics focus was on video control systems and LED display technology, particularly at \'Live Events\' or stadium facilities. Even though I had worked for this single company for eight years my experience and professional growth was anything but limited. Maintaining strong technical capacity and effective communication skills had allowed me to move through several positions within the organization and participate in almost all aspects of the business. Having an opportunity to participate in the concept design, engineering, and delivery of these solutions for Daktronics prestigious customer base was very rewarding.At the end of 2014 I widened my career focus towards Broadcast technology. This transition has been very positive and has provided an opportunity to leverage my soft-skills while developing a broader understanding of technology and media transmission including satellites, cable, free-to-air, MPEG over IP, etc. Recently, I have transitioned back into a Product Management role and contribute to the product lifecycle management, feature roadmap, and business development in both the Broadcast and ProAV markets.
