I spent 10 years at Yelp leading end-to-end Search, Ads & Data teams as well as cross-cutting leadership work like running Eng Recruiting & vetting acquisitions. My last two years I was SVP/Head of Eng leading a 900 person team. After Yelp I joined Meta Privacy to return to hands-on technical leadership & absorb from a renowned execution culture. I had a lot of fun at Meta establishing ubiquitous sensitive-data search, running an applied-crypto-for-privacy team and solving the problem of effectively internally federating 600K+ hours/yr of privacy work to the company. I\'m ready for a bigger challenge again though.I\'m looking for ~VP roles at late-stage-private/early-stage public companies, or Director+ roles at large companies. Roughly, 100-250 person teams where I have wide ability to set strategy, culture and high-level technical direction. I\'ve had experience on the gamut of software - user-facing product, infra, etc - but am at my strongest mentoring folks of all levels and exercising experience with data. I live in SF.
