If you are looking for a reliable and dependable Mechanical Engineer, then look no further. I am a Shipbuilding Industry Professional with over 15+ years of design, production, supervisory & technical experience. After graduating in 2005 with Hons. in a Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, I started out as an apprentice in a government shipyard building offshore patrol vessels & attack crafts for the Indian Navy/Coast Guard. Here, I gained practical experience across various sections. Subsequently, I moved onto a leading CAD/CAM/GIS/E-Solution & Services provider wherein I headed a design team of 15 experienced professionals to produce detail drawings, machinery/accommodation room layouts, generating a 3D working model using TRIBON & AutoCAD for patrol vessels, sail training ships of the Indian Navy/Coast guard. Thereafter, to gain international experience, I moved to the design department of a Singapore based company having shipbuilding operations in Thailand wherein I gained valuable design experience on vessels like Survey Support Vessels & Suction hopper dredgers. Furthermore, I was transferred to production department which placed me in a dynamic team environment which further sharpened my engineering, management & project execution skills in areas like pre-construction, pressure/airflow/vacuum testing, air balancing, fit-up & weld visual inspection, line check, re-instatement, flushing & commissioning activities related to all Piping/HVAC systems. After that, I made a move to Singapore and began working as a Design Engineer for an Australian based shipbuilding company called Strategic Marine, building crew boats, Offshore utility vessels, Cargo & fast transfer vessels & Windfarm Vessels. Finally, I was working as a Mechanical Engineer for Damen Shipyards Group in Singapore until Dec 2020, when the Shipyard was forced to shutdown due to the end of the land lease. Currently working with Vard Marine Inc as a Senior Mechanical Systems Specialist in Canada. I possess exceptionally strong engineering, computer & managerial skills. I have successfully built teams & implemented engineering processes which involved disciplined & equitable performance evaluation reviews.
