For the past 20+ years, I have developed an effective management style focused on team development, meeting financial goals, and providing an exceptional guest experience. Most of my experience has been acquired in the gaming/hospitality industry at Hard Rock Casino Tulsa. During that time, I have been exposed to constant expansion and have been able to provide the necessary leadership to contribute to the success of our property. My contributions have expanded beyond food and beverage operations to impact all aspects of company operations.Operational Management• Prepare, manage, operate multiple annual fiscal budgets. Profit and loss analysis. • Efficient with inventory management procedures, rules, and guidelines.• Computer proficient with word processing, excel spreadsheet, database and restaurant industry software. • Collaborate with Marketing, Vendors, and property Executives/Managers to ensure efficient organizational operation.• Monitor industry trends to provide our guests with new experiences.• Assist with many other aspects of the property\'s operation as needed. Staff Development• Revised / implemented procedures for operational evaluations, employee training and development. Utilize mgmt. practices to set goals, develop strategies, evaluate results and make adjustments as required to ensure efficient organizational operations.• Responsible for 10+ direct reports. As a team we manage, train, and coach a team as large as approximately 500 employees.• Represented multiple frontline employees who have been promoted into the supervisor/management ranks.• Assisted with the development of university-level Hospitality coursework geared toward the gaming environment in conjunction with Oklahoma State University’s Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management.Project Management• Directly responsible for the pre-opening responsibilities of 15+ F&B projects, and renovation of multiple venues and concepts.• Involved in 4 major expansions that have resulted in the current Hard Rock Tulsa resort destination that offers a variety of dining options, 8 Bar / Nightclub options, 2700 seat concert venue, 2400+ electronic gaming machines, 450+ hotel rooms, over sq. ft of convention space, and a Perry Maxwell designed golf course.• Contributed to new construction or remodeling projects for several other CNE gaming properties. The most recent would be the conversion of Cherokee Casino West Siloam Springs buffet operation into a Food Hall housing 7 different dining or beverage options.
