Every day, ordinary people find themselves in extraordinary moments — a coworker clutches their chest, a child stops breathing, someone collapses on a job site. In those seconds, the person standing closest isn\'t a paramedic. It\'s a coworker. A volunteer. A babysitter. You. Project Heartbeat exists for that person. We partner with Tennessee businesses and organizations to deliver onsite CPR, AED, First Aid, and Pediatric First Aid training — on their schedule, at their location. Medical practices, trades companies, restaurants, schools, churches, synagogues — wherever people gather, preparedness belongs there too. We also partner with individuals who want to turn their skills into something meaningful. Become an independent Project Heartbeat instructor and set your own schedule, be your own boss, and earn doing something that genuinely matters. Veterans and first responders are especially welcome — whether still serving or transitioning to the next chapter. As a thank-you for what they\'ve already given, we offer preferred contractor rates so more of every class they teach goes back to them and their families. Their calm, competence, and commitment are exactly what communities need in a classroom. When you train with Project Heartbeat — whether you\'re a business investing in your team or an individual building something of your own — you\'re part of something bigger than a certification. Project Heartbeat instructors are authorized through HSI — the Health & Safety Institute — a nationally accredited program recognized through ASHI and MEDIC First Aid, covering both professional-level and layperson certification needs. Nashville-based. Woman-owned. Built for communities that take care of their own.
