With over 30 years of leadership in wireless, cloud and emerging technologies, I bring a unique blend of deep technical expertise, operational excellence, and transformational leadership to mission-critical programs across both commercial and federal sectors.My career began with a 28-year tenure at AT & T, where I played a pivotal role in building and modernizing one of the world’s largest wireless networks, leading its evolution from 1G to 5G. My leadership encompassed program and project management, engineering, emergency response, compliance, and large-scale deployments across thousands of sites. I’m known for a collaborative, people-first leadership style and a track record of mentoring emerging leaders and delivering results through cross-functional teams.In 2024, I transitioned to the federal technology space as Director of Cloud Services at GovCIO in support of the U.S. Department of Defense. I hold an active Top Secret security clearance and lead three integrated teams: Cloud Engineering, Cloud Automation, and the Cloud Center of Excellence. We deliver IL5-compliant AWS environments and secure cloud solutions using Infrastructure as Code, DevSecOps practices, and advanced CI/CD pipelines. I also play a key role in evaluating emerging AI technologies and aligning them with operational use cases, cybersecurity compliance, and mission requirements.My passion lies in bridging traditional telecom infrastructure with cutting-edge cloud services to solve complex challenges in security-first environments. I believe in leading with clarity, mentoring with purpose, and building solutions that serve real people.Rooted in a faith-based leadership philosophy, I value family, service, and community. After a tragic mass-casualty event that seriously injured our 10-year-old son Tanner, my wife Kaitlin and I began working with the South Carolina Attorney General, our U.S. Congresswoman, and state leaders to pass legislation that protects children from preventable violence.We also founded Kingdom Come Real Estate Solutions, a family business focused on restoring distressed properties and expanding affordable housing across Coastal Carolina. Ten percent of our profits go directly to charitable causes, reflecting our commitment to purpose over profit.
