Director - Portfolio Manager on the Structured Credit and CLO Investment Team within BlackRock\'s Global Fixed Income group. Manage $35bn of US and European CLO, middle-market, CBO tranche warehouse funding, private CLO (Neptunite shelf), and structured credit investments in a team of seven for all account types and mandates. Including: unconstrained mutual funds, global allocation, hedge fund, insurance, short duration, ETFs (CLOA, BINC), bank loan/high-yield funds, multi-asset strategy funds, and overseas separately managed accounts. Also assist in process optimization and marketing of internally managed CLOs. Responsible for trading $10bn+ two-way flows per annum and allocations via both primary and secondary markets. Spearhead quantitative structured credit investing initiatives, including: systematic private CLO equity investments generating a portfolio of 200+ leveraged loans, analysis of CFOs, rated feeder funds. Also lead CLO quantitative research and portfolio analytics efforts, including proprietary manager tiering, ESG, and LIBOR transition-related areas. Experienced in CLO documentation review (i.e. stips), credit analysis, performance assessment, positioning optimization, scenario analysis, cashflow/waterfall modeling, and modeling loan loss assumptions. Helped ramp new funds post-COVID: overseas separate accounts focusing on 10%+ yielding securitized BSIF fund, and $2.3bn BlackRock Capital Allocation Trust, which have a significant allocation to CLOs.
