ABOUT JASON FURTADO
Large-scale climate dynamicist with expertise in the weather - climate interface (i.e, subseasonal-to-seasonal forecasting), extreme weather prediction, decadal climate variability, and climate change. I have applied my technical skills and climate expertise for producing predictive models of weather phenomena and evaluating model simulations of present and future climates. I currently work as an Associate Professor of Meteorology at the University of Oklahoma, where I manage and mentor graduate students, teach classes on statistics, data analysis, and climate, and perform research on the topics above.
