ABOUT JASON BORKES
I am a Tax Partner at SingerLewak and a leader within the firm’s Tax Advisory Group. I work closely with successful business owners and individuals to help them navigate complex tax issues and implement strategic tax opportunities.My experience spans strategic tax planning, business advisory, transaction support, and federal and state compliance for closely held and investor‑backed companies. In addition to ongoing advisory and planning, I regularly support clients in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions, including tax structuring, due diligence, and post‑transaction considerations. I joined SingerLewak in 2012 and have worked with clients across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, retail, professional services, real estate, private equity, and venture capital. I am a Certified Public Accountant in California and a member of the AICPA and CalCPA. I have also authored technical articles published in The Tax Adviser and the AICPA Journal of Accountancy.
