Team management experience, both macro & micro, with direct and functional report; official mentor to over thirty junior team members over the years using the SLB SCMi competency system; strong technical expertise; many years of direct and indirect client interaction, and with much experience in the area of Project Management.Constant involvement in the introduction of new technology at the wellsite and onshore in multiple situations and locations. Creating a systematic peer review process to correctly identify which technology- old & new - is correct for specific applications to best achieve our clients objectives. Digital transformation: My most recent role was in the Digital field, acting as a Digital Well Engineering Manager enabling, through the correct integration of SLB DrillPlan / Delfi (SaaS) cloud based planning solutions, improved performance and optimisation through all stages of the Planning and operational stages of drilling a well, enhanced with the implementation of Cloud technology, ensuring a true infinity loop; capturing all lessons learned and feeding them back into the process for the next well being designed. Co-Author of many Industry Professional Society papers, and for a 2 year period I was as a member of the Steering Committee for the Aberdeen Section of the SPE. Also I regularly acted as an internal Technical Expert reviewer on professional society documents written by Schlumberger employees, prior to their submission to those bodies for consideration.Training courses given (both internally and externally): Multiple drilling planning software systems - Stuck Pipe Prevention - DrillPlan Cloud Based Digital Training - Surveying Techniques - Anti Collision - BHA Design - Drilling best practice and Mechanics - Directional Systems and their applications etc…Training courses taken (Some, but not all): K&M ERD and complex well; T.H.Hill advanced Drill String Design - Schlumberger Well Control Fundamentals - Schlumberger Well Integrity - Schlumberger Sales & Commercial - Trade Restrictions and Compliance etc.On three occasions I acted as part of the Judging panel for the annual GeoMarket Schlumberger Drilling Symposium, which is an internal to Schlumberger competition which recognizes technical and innovative projects from across all areas of the organization, and have presented at three Drilling Symposiums. Winner of many internal Schlumberger awards over the years, with a number of Performed by Schlumberger and Service Quality awards and also 2 knowledge sharing awards.
