With over 28 years of distinguished service in law enforcement, I currently serve as Director of Emergency Services, Special Events, Search & Rescue, and Volunteer Services at the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office. I lead seven divisions, oversee 250 personnel, and manage a multi-million-dollar annual budget—all with a focus on operational excellence, public safety, and community resilience.Over the past decade, I’ve directed the planning and execution of more than special events, 260+ Search & Rescue missions, and numerous severe weather responses. My leadership blends tactical precision with collaborative strategy, ensuring readiness across agencies and fostering trust with public and private stakeholders.I hold a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts, am OSHA 30 Certified, and have earned Six Sigma White, Yellow, and Green Belt certifications. My extensive training in Emergency Management, Leadership, Special Event planning equips me to navigate complex challenges, optimize systems, and drive continuous improvement across operations.I’m known for cultivating team-driven environments, mentoring emerging leaders, and translating high-stakes scenarios into actionable solutions.
