About Jason Abbot

Jason is a Pharmacist that brings over 20 years of broad experience in areas ranging from clinical and operational roles to administrative/leadership and supervisory roles in both military and not-for-profit health system settings. His primary areas of focus have been clinical and distribution operations evaluation, process improvement, and project implementation. More recently he has been involved in developing staffing optimization models for both retail and hospital pharmacies, identifying formulary cost savings opportunities, 340B optimization, merger/acquisition evaluation and planning as well as assisting clients in opportunity evaluation and launch of specialty pharmacy, PBM, and home infusion operations. Jason is a motivated team player that enjoys using creativity, innovation, and data analytics to identify opportunities and develop unique solutions to problems.Through his range of experiences, Jason has developed an excellent understanding of both clinical and distribution operations in the acute and ambulatory settings as well as the equipment, software, and devices used to augment those operations. He has a number of experiences in project management and implementations. In addition, he has experience in working with regulatory bodies to include JCAHO, DNV, and State Boards of Pharmacy.
