About Jasmin Serrao
Slowly building up 4 years of work experience in Digital Marketing, I gained exposure to and have held a plethora of roles. You name it, I’ve probably tried or done it! Holding a degree in English Literature seemed completely irrelevant, it did not align with my current or future career plans. So I started & continue to satisfy my inquiring mind by consistently polishing my existing skillset & acquiring new ones. From online virtual courses to YouTube videos, making the most of the internet, trying every approach. Simultaneously, I built an extremely strong reputation for my work in the Social Media domain, helping my clients get the best for their brand. While studying & absorbing everything from my PCDMS course by IIDE, I discovered a desire to move from SMM to other domains like Performance Marketing, Content Marketing & Brand Strategy. As far as my hobbies go, I enjoy creating beauty content, on Instagram & YouTube. Possessing a natural flair for creativity since childhood, I take great pleasure in creating art, through drawings, paintings, I also enjoy writing. Like the saying goes - readers are leaders. Disappearing into all sorts of books, since 8th grade on Wattpad. My taste of paperbacks shifted to romance, sci-fi, psychology, dystopia & self-help. Durjoy Datta, Ruskin Bond, Emily Brontë & Jane Austin (some of my go-to fav authors) Based on my personal pursuits it’s safe to say I love connecting with the world. PS. I am an animal lover, with a special liking for dogs. I personally believe it’s only through constantly questioning & just being curious, that we learn. To inculcate & support my belief, I eventually had to accept that- I don’t know it all - To keep learning because learning never ends - To try things beyond what I have mastered - My education is something no one can take away from me- Embraced a new motto: Become who you are, by learning who you are.
