About Jasmine Worles

A Memphis native, my exposure to the diverse and culturally rich environment of my city shaped my outlook and ignited a passion to making a positive impact on my community. I’ve channeled that passion through problem-solving and process improvement, traits that have become the cornerstone of my professional success. Through my previous role as Strategic Planning Manager to the Chief of Staff at Memphis-Shelby County Schools, I supported the district in preparing students and parents for 21st Century learning. I was a key figure in the success of a $43 million initiative that deployed devices to students during the Covid-19 pandemic. I also managed high-impact cross-functional initiatives within MSCS that led to positive student gains including, but not limited to, nationally recognized high-dosage tutoring, strategic partnerships for literacy gains, and implementation of the first district-wide student internship program. Most recently, I served as the Managing Director of Communications with KIPP Memphis Public Schools where I supported the region in the formation and roll out of a 5-year strategic plan, deliberate elevation of the region’s brand, process improvement in internal and board operations, and securing and maintaining key external partnerships. In this role, I also spearheaded recruitment efforts for the region that led to gains in student enrollment, ultimately supporting the region’s fiscal health. One of my favorite past times is affecting electoral politics and preparing budding and returning electeds to run successful campaigns. I’ve had the honor of training more than 1,500 candidates across more than 10 states on the nuts and bolts of running for office. I have been named a Rising Star by the American Society of Public Administration, Memphis Fliers 20<30 and Top 40 Under 40 Urban Elite. I am also a mom to a daughter, Nile Worles, a dog-son, Czar Worles, and a wife to my husband, Kenneth Worles Jr.
