ABOUT JASMINE SAMANIEGO
I have recently completed my Bachelor\'s of Science in Biology, with a double minor in Chemistry and Spanish at the University of San Diego. Within the next couple of years, I plan on attending veterinary school to receive my DVM. As someone with a deep passion for wildlife, my goal is to become a zoological veterinarian so that I may aid in the efforts of conservationists!From the summer of 2024 to the fall of 2025, I have performed undergraduate research for the department of Chemistry & Biochemistry in the lab of Dr. Peter M. Iovine. We have focused on characterizing novel soft materials, with immunological and biomedical implications, through organic and polymer chemistry.
