Hello! In 2016 I obtained my Associate of Science in Nursing degree from Georgia State Perimeter College. During my ADN studies I was accepted into the Bridges to Baccalaureate Program. This was a partnership between GPC and Emory funded by a five-year National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant to prepare nurses from underrepresented groups to attain bachelor\'s degrees in nursing, with the additional goal of producing doctoral students for careers as health scientists/researchers.While obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Emory I discovered my passion of mental health. I\'m currently pursing my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Georgia Southern University. I’m a student in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner track.
