ABOUT JASMINE SUNDRI
I am a Mental Health Counselor in the New York City area utilizing an eclectic blend of Feminist, Multicultural, Existential, Relational and EMDR therapy. My prior internship, education, and research experiences have encouraged my passion for incorporating social justice and the arts in my therapy work. I believe in using an interdisciplinary and intersectional approach that combines the arts and sciences in order to better understand the human condition. I believe the therapeutic process is a unique, powerful, creative, proactive, collaborative, and professional relationship that has the potential for individuals to feel a sense of safety, non judgment, validation, empowerment, self-awareness, authenticity, and self-acceptance. I try my best to create a therapeutic space that is safe, sex-positive, inclusive, and affirming to people of all races/ethnicities, sexual orientations, and gender identities.
