About Jasmine Lokesh

Holding a post graduation degree in Geotechnical Engineering from IIT Bombay, I am inquisitive about knowing what happens to the soil beneath or surrounding a structure. As someone said,\"It is more significant to know the possible failure mechanism/s, than to getting your calculations correct\", is the thought which drives me.I have three years of experience in the UK and the Canadian mobility sector, working in the geotechnical design of integral bridges, culverts, retaining walls and highway earthworks. I have also liased with teams across different regions and different disciplines, as a resourcing coordinator.I am well versed in the usage of analysis softwares viz. Oasys Suite including PDisp and GRETA, PLAXIS, REPUTE, WALLAP, GeoStudio Slope/W, with some proficiency in Oasys Alp and FREW. I also thrive to be time efficient by automating mundane tasks wherever possible using Python, with the aid of AI tools.Currently I am exploring new geology and the geotechnical challenges coming with that in the NZ region.In addition to the above, I also love writing stories, set in my imagination, which I\'d been doing at the start of my career in an EdTech firm, where we used to create Math learning games.
