Working as an on site boarding support staff, working duty nights a week with children aged between 7 and 18. This means working within a small team to manage younger children throughout their evening routine, as well as supervising the older students during evening work and free time. I am achieving skills in confidence, enthusiasm, dedication and patience. Although i am applying these skills to working with children i believe they can be applied to any work setting, including my other role at Barnard Castle School when working with alumni.

ABOUT JASMINE HOOPER
I am currently working as the Barnardian Society Coordinator at Barnard Castle School. This is a role which i am highly excited about having attended the school myself. This role involves working alongside the Director of Development and Alumni relations. I will be developing relationships with past students, parents and the wider school community to ensure that those relationships stay strong years after people have left the school. This exciting role will be busy with assisting in the creation of a whole school Masterplan which will outline the future of Barnard Castle School.This role is so varied, teaching me something new every day in the world of development and alumni relations. Attending conferences, online seminars and having the opportunity for learning every day is becoming crucial in my personal development.
