I leverage my 13+ years of healthcare experience and my certifications in Medical Assistant and Beaker Clinical Pathology to provide quality IT and administrative support to the laboratory department. I have a strong background in electronic health records, phlebotomy, office management, and laboratory sciences, which enables me to create, manage, and resolve tickets, monitor work queues, perform build and quick fixes, and work closely with end users and colleagues. I am passionate about patient care and safety, and I have implemented new policies, educated staff, assessed patients, and maintained compliance in my previous roles as a lab supervisor at Johns Hopkins Medicine and an Epic Beaker Analyst at Riverside Medical Group. I have also developed and adjusted work schedules, led and directed a team of 20+ clinical personnel and support staff, and implemented ongoing learning strategies to improve understanding of medical equipment and best care practices.
