Hello I’m Jasmine, story artist and storyteller! Check out my portfolio and work here below: jasminereyes.myportfolio.com I am inspired by stories full of heart, fantasy, and found family. I hope to create compelling stories that capture all the messy, weird and wonderful bits of being human!(Specializations: Storyboarding, Screenwriting, Illustration, Animation, Painting/Drawing, Character Design, Video Editing, Ceramics, Risograph Software Programs: Storyboard Pro, Photoshop, Procreate, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Maya, Z Brush, Blender, Google Sketchup) I have always loved stories as a child and was captivated by the power of storytelling from my family. Coming from immigrant parents who shared our Filipino family history through stories, I became aware of its ability in fostering connections and bridging our universal experiences. Since then, I have always appreciated storytelling as a means to understand and empathize. I aspire to convey this same meaning through the art and future projects I work on. With a degree in Film/TV: Animation and studying Illustration-Entertainment Arts at Art Center College of Design, I hold the technical skills to produce quality work alongside my passions in telling compelling stories. In my spare time I also love making comics, ceramics, zines and risographs! When I’m not making art, you can find me with my cats: Lazlo and Oliver, reading fantasy novels, getting tattoos, playing guitar, and writing too much on Letterboxd. I’d love to connect!
