Work one-on-one with the child teaching them based off of their individualized behavior intervention. Provide prompt fading to encourage positive behavior, as well as a multitude of reinforcement techniques. Utilize nonviolent crisis prevention intervention (CPI) approved procedures to de-escalate problem behaviors and ensure safety during crisis situations. Complete a daily treatment note outlining the day’s interventions, outcomes, and reflect on the individual’s overall progress. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Collaborate with children’s family and surrounding team in order to create high quality behavior treatments. Accurately collect data, modify implementation of intervention plan, and support the child/their families.
