I am a senior & highly versatile product and program management specialist, having designed, built & delivered complex solutions that leverage a multitude of differing technology domains, such as Cloud, Unified Communications & Collaboration, Contact Centre, 5G, IoT and Artificial Intelligence. Over the last 20 years, I have driven the rollout of numerous feature rich products & services, whilst also consulting & advising numerous customers, on the benefits of adopting these evolutionary technologies, which are changing our everyday livesHaving started my career in an engineering remit, I possess the technical ‘know-how’ of how things work and the associated day to day complexities that our customers face, in understanding & justifying the business value of these solutions. I have a firm grasp on how to convert technical requirements into business outcomes. I place customer centricity at the heart of everything I do, by first interpreting what the customer needs, before moving to how it can be built and delivered. I have a sound understanding of the software and service Lifecyle framework, from point of ideation, all the way through to delivery and retirement. I am also skilled in different ways of working, where I try to leverage agile and lean methodologies, such as SAFe/DevOps, to drive products & services value creation. The products and services I create are built upon the foundations that they are dynamic, scalable and repeatable. Digital disruption is forcing customers to change the way they deliver services to their end users, whereby they are trying to balance a catch-22 situation of maintaining stability within their environments, whilst facilitating large scale transformation at the same time. Over the years, I have helped to build a portfolio of various professional and managed services, that help to alleviate the risks associated with this large-scale level of change. Outside of work, I volunteer as a youth coach for a local football team and I also assist parents in navigating the legal minefield of special educational needs provision for children. I also like to think that, at my age, I can still play football like Lionel Messi, albeit that my mind tells me one thing and my body is telling me another….
