ABOUT JASHASWI GHOSH

Jashaswi is a corporate transactional attorney with a strong focus on the healthcare and life sciences industries. His practice focuses on representing and advising pharmaceutical, medical device, digital health, and food companies, as well as hospital systems, professional corporations, private equity and venture capital firms, across a diverse range of strategic and commercial transactions.He has extensive experience negotiating and drafting complex service agreements, vendor contracts, mergers and acquisitions, licensing and collaboration agreements, and technology transfer deals. Additionally, he has structured clinical trial agreements and CRO service arrangements. Jashaswi also has experience working with start-ups and businesses on work involving incorporation, structuring and financing and routinely worked on drafting and reviewing operating agreements, asset purchase agreements, partnership agreements, offering memorandums and employment related agreements.Beyond transactional work, Jashaswi regularly counsels clients on regulatory and compliance matters, including product approvals, licensure compliance, import/export regulations for medical products, telehealth regulations, fraud and abuse concerns, the corporate practice of medicine, as well as day to day corporate and business related concerns.Jashaswi also brings a strong business mindset to his legal practice and is deeply engaged in business development efforts. He has a particular interest in U.S-India business development, leveraging his network and prior experience to support collaborations with key clients and law firms in India. He also maintains strong ties with the startup ecosystem, especially through connections at Stanford University, including the Graduate School of Business, where he actively engages with early-stage companies.Prior to transitioning to the United States, Jashaswi worked at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, a premier law firm in India, where he served as an Associate and later as a Senior Associate in the pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and life sciences practice. In this role, he represented and advised pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, healthcare, digital health, and food companies on a wide range of strategic transactional and regulatory issues. He played a pivotal role in advising clients on licensing, clinical trials, marketing authorizations, mergers and acquisitions, product approvals and clearances, advertising and promotional claims, adverse event reporting obligations, and product recalls.
