ABOUT JAS RAYAT

I am an ACA chartered accountant with several years experience in practice and industry, combining my passion for finance and problem solving to deliver high quality outputs.I have worked as a Financial Accountant at EDF Trading, a large and global energy trading company. I contributed to various financial tasks, including monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes, data reconciliation, intercompany processes, and financial reporting. I also provided analysis on performance metrics, support budgeting and IFRS statutory accounts preparation.My previous role was as a Senior Business Adviser at BDO, one of the leading accounting and advisory firms in the UK and globally. l prepared statutory annual accounts compliant with financial reporting standards FRS102 1A, management accounts, and tailored services for clients. I have previous experience in audit fieldwork services for SMEs in a range of industries, multi-academy trusts, and professional service firms. I contributed to the delivery of exceptional quality and flexibility for our clients, working collaboratively with my team and other stakeholders. I was the Chair of the ICAEW Student Council for the 24-25 annual term, representing and advocating for thousands of fellow ACA students across the UK and the world.
