   Deployed to Presidentially declared disasters and have served in a variety of different positions from Human Resources Assistant to Human Resources Unit Manager along with Human Resources Unit Leader. Managed the Human Resources Unit while supervising groups of up to twelve Human Resources Specialists and Managers. Responsible for overseeing the recruitment and selection, payroll processing, personnel deployments, personnel actions and other administrative duties.• Establish, manage and oversee a fair and equitable recruitment process and hiring/staffing activities. Included but not limited to the NY Complex – resulting in over 100 new hires from the local area. • Oversee the human resources administrative activities (i.e. payroll, policy, labor relations, new employee’s orientation, deployments, etc.) ensuring timeliness and accuracy while maintaining the confidentiality of information according to Privacy Act requirements.• Advise senior management on policy development and procedures relating to administrative guidelines.• Manage time and attendance activities for different incidents, including the creation of reports for senior management in order to track employee hours and administrative costs which resulted in changes to operational hours and a significant reduction in administrative costs.• Oversee payroll processing to include payroll review and training of staff.• Manage the Automated Deployment Database (ADD) functions and ensured Agency protocols were followed for the deployment of staff. Served as a Staffing Point of Contact (SPOC) for different incidents.• Manage, train and develop human resources staff by coaching/mentoring, provide on-the-job training and ensuring attendance to mandatory training while fostering a team-work job environment.• Manage other administrative duties as drafting the Administrative Memorandum for Federal Coordinating Officer’s (FCO) approval, and develop Delegation of Authority for the incidents.
