Jessica A. Artiles is an MIT-grad, lifelong learner, and branding / marketing aficionado with international experience applying design thinking to product, teams, and organizational transformation. She\'s an inspired, impactful leader Interested in leading product teams through strategy, organizational design, change management, Biz Ops, and Agile or Digital is a 5-time refugee and as such is a unique international and cross-cultural connector when it comes to facilitating teams and their creative process. Since 2012 she’s been prototyping her trademark innovation process she developed at MIT during her graduate thesis, and integrating learnings from all corners of the world. She’s best known for bringing ”the spark” (AKA “La Chispa”) that ignites innovation in leaders and their teams to help them: 1. Access and benefit from their unique “Inner World Insights,”2. Maximize their prototyping strategy to bring their users closer, and 3. Install systems in their business so they can operate creatively, efficiently, and joyfully. She seamlessly steps in and out of an org as an Innovation Management Partner or Executive Coach to help businesses reach their bottom line faster, with fewer resources, and with user validation along the A. Artiles is a designer, maker, educator, Cuban salsa dancer, snowboarder, and avid roadtripper, but above all else— a connector.Her 14 years at MIT included three engineering degrees and start-up work spanning from sustainable building materials and electric grid systems research to education innovation and visual thinking theory. Jessica is one of Boston’s Latino 30 Under 30, a Fellow at the Royal Society of Art, a TEDx speaker, and prior Head Strategist of the MIT Presidential Advisory Cabinet. Her latest adventures include helping Amnesty International combat #PoliceBrutality in El Salvador and Trinidad & Tobago through Design Thinking. For fun, she facilitates workshops on the Future of Work, The Future of Creative Play, Emotional Intelligence, Somatic Intelligence, and Right-Brain Leadership, and designs makerspaces for healing-centered exploration for 2 and 92 year-olds.
