I\'m an Software Engineering Product Manager at Nationwide Financial Technology. Nationwide is a long-standing Fortune 100 company, a leading provider of personal and commercial property and casualty insurance and long-term retirement savings products.I have over 18 years experience in the Information Technology field. Joined Nationwide as a network engineer responsible for the provisioning and support of Nationwide’s data network. I obtained my CCNA in 2006 and CCNA Wireless in 2009. In 2015, joined the 7x24 Production Services as an Incident Manager which acts as the technical call facilitator for major incidents and provides process guidance and governance. In 2017, I became an Application Services Manager which managed the Infrastructure & Operations relationship and support for the Marketing, Collaboration, and Communication BSA. I performed as the primary point of contact in the BSA for all Run services activity and provided information, metrics, and analysis on run services. In my current role as a Software Engineering Product Manager, I lead the technology needs for Nationwide Securities LLC, and Nationwide Retirement Institute business units with a team of 8 associates. My role directly interacts and collaborates with the business unit leaders and helps them with their technology needs to achieve the business outcome. I manage all activities and functions of a staff involved with the analysis, definition, specification, development, testing, documentation and installation of new and/or existing applications. I lead a team that drives data strategy, application strategy and integration strategy using modern tech stacks like AWS, Java and APIs to support the growing business needs.Earned my Bachelor of Science in Communications from Ohio University in 1998. I was a founding father and active alumni of the Phi Kappa Theta fraternity. I currently live in Gahanna, Ohio with my wife and two sons. In my spare time I enjoy the outdoors, cooking, and spending time with my family.
