Smurfit Westrock partners with forward-thinking companies to deliver tailored, FSC Certified packaging solutions that support ESG targets, reduce CO2 output, and increase operational efficiency.My Role:As Customer Solutions Manager, my role is to support businesses in identifying smarter, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible packaging solutions tailored to their operational needs.Key responsibilities include:Developing and managing a pipeline of new business opportunities across sectors such as food & beverage, e-commerce, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals.Leading packaging audits and solution workshops to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements in packaging design, material usage, and supply chain processes.Helping clients reduce packaging costs, minimise void space, lower CO2 emissions, and optimise their ordering patterns through strategic packaging solutions.Collaborating with the design and production teams at our Belfast and Lurgan factories to deliver bespoke, high-quality packaging tailored to each client’s product and distribution model.Supporting businesses transitioning from plastic to cardboard packaging as part of their ESG and sustainability commitments.Providing account management and continuous improvement support for existing clients, ensuring packaging solutions continue to align with operational and commercial goals.This role allows me to work directly with ambitious, forward-thinking businesses to unlock cost savings, environmental benefits, and operational efficiencies through tailored packaging strategies.
