About Jarrett B. Williams
Professional Cartoonist with a focused interest in young, all-ages, and teen graphic novels. My trademark series right now is Super Pro K.O!(S.P.K.O!) which tells the story of a young pro-wrestler named Joe Somiano trying to become Heavyweight Champion of SPKO. My artwork is very energetic and most of my published books have been over 150+ pages in length. I truly enjoy telling longer stories. I also take on a number of projects for clients where I draw single cover illustrations.I\'ve released my third graphic novel,\"Super Pro K.O: Gold for Glory! on June 29, 2016. I currently completed my next graphic novel, Hyper Force Neo vol. 1 from Z2 Comics (Release Date: Spring 2017). It\'s an exciting time! I\'ve pushed myself professionally, and it\'s opened the door to some great opportunities. Coolest Highlights: Participating in a talk on Inclusivity in Comics at the American Library Association Conference in June 2016. I met Andre (Outkast) at Art Basel Miami in Nov 2015 and assisted with his \"I Feel Ya\" exhibition opening by drawing guests in attendance. Recent Highlights: Finishing my 284 page third graphic novel, Super Pro K.O: Gold for Glory for Oni Press. I also just completed my fourth graphic novel, Hyper Force Neo vol. 1 for Z2 Comics (over 150 pages)!Travel Log 2016: California, New York, Florida, Colorado, Nebraska, Washington, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Texas, Louisiana, Connecticut, Mexico, Canada, Belgium, and Hong Kong!Former Gig: I worked as an Assistant Director of Enrollment Events at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I was forward-facing and interacted with hundreds of guests each week. I was very organized and also managed guest data. I led my team by setting the example. I set very high standards for myself. This role really taught me how to be more decisive, organized, time-sensitive, and to lean on my instincts. I pride myself on being able to wear multiple hats. I\'m an optimist by nature.
