As a proven sports management professional and administrator, I consider myself extremely lucky to work in such an inspiring and motivating field where I get to use my burning passion for sport and all of the skills and experiences I have gained to contribute to the development of athletes, coaches, and administrators across the country. I have experience working at a local, provincial, national, and international level of sport governance, and have worked alongside extraordinary people that have made a profound impact on my personal and professional life. I have worked with amazing organizations, such as the BC Games Society, PacificSport Victoria, Canadian Sport Institute - Pacific, Camosun College, Rowing Canada, and the University of Ballarat (Australia), all of which have made countless contributions to the positive progression and development of the sport sector. I have a powerful passion for sport, and a true belief in all of the physical, social, and mental benefits for all that include sport in their lives. As an athlete that competed in a team sport, I have benefited from all of the values that each coach has influenced me along the way. I continue to value the team approach in all aspects in my life, and find great importance in having positive working relationships with everyone involved, supporting each other, and respecting everyone\'s skill sets that each represent a piece the puzzle of that ultimate shared goal or outcome - while enjoying the challenges and successes that come with the process. I am a creative and critical thinker - constantly looking at ways to improve programs and services. Innovative thinking is something I believe is integral in all work environments. Most importantly, it is a philosophy of mine to ensure a fun and positive work environment. Everyone at all levels need to feel supported, respected, and recognized - to make sure everyone is firing on all cylinders, and are excited to come to work everyday.
