About Jarratt Willis
I’m a natural science educator and biological science technician with experience in water conservation, pollinator conservation, wildlife conflict management, mediation, dispute resolution, non-profit advocacy, non-profit development, community outreach, events planning, government relations. As an educator I\'m ready to introduce students, traditional and non-traditional, to environmental concepts that focus on water conservation, watershed management, water reuse, pollinator conservation, and urban \'rewilding\'. I can work within a traditional setting, a laboratory environment, or in outdoor classrooms that bring students face-to-face with the ecological concepts they are studying. I currently work contract jobs for, and am a co-founder to, The Great Seed Bomb. I work across the greater Dallas area as a contract (and occasionally pro-bono) siting, development, and seedbomb production specialist. This means I’m out seeking permissions and researching the rules and regulations we need to know before can commit to wildflower seedings and prairie restoration on public and private property, educating myself on parks and greenspace BMP\'s, planning educational events, organizing conservation workshops, refining our fundraising mechanisms, manufacturing seedbombs, and assisting well-to-do urbanites in the design and cultivation of \"pocket prairies\" and pollinator gardens. I\'m currently seeking contract, PT, FT, and remote work opportunities with conservation-based organizations and related non-profit organizations in DFW and across the United States.
