Lead the planning and implementation of Nokia 7250 IP/MPLS/Ethernet backbone augments and backhaul builds to support capacity growth, ensuring scalability and resiliency across the statewide transport network.Engineer backbone capacity details including equipment ports, fiber cross-connects, dark fiber facilities, and metro/in-building connections to optimize transport and IP service delivery.Create detailed installation packages for Nokia equipment at POP and outdoor cabinet sites, including instructions, BOMs, cable running lists, rack drawings, transport diagrams, and provisioning details.Direct site survey requests to validate rack space, power, and grounding, ensuring compliance with standards.Update project status in Daylight project management software and proactively communicate with PMs and leadership to resolve roadblocks.Coordinate logistics for equipment shipments from warehouse to installation sites.Assist installation and provisioning teams with equipment install and circuit turn-up.Design and produce Visio diagrams for 10G/100G Ethernet, OTU2 and OTU4 over DWDM waves.Design and produce Visio diagrams for DIA, EVPL, EPL, and inter-POP IP/MPLS transport, accurately representing WAN IPs, SAPs, VLANs, ISIS metrics/areas, and MPLS SDP tunnel paths.Model Ethernet and DWDM transport circuits in MetaSolv, supporting provisioning readiness and backbone optimization initiatives.
