Oversee the Tax Foundation\'s Center for State Tax Policy, which produces and markets timely and high-quality data, research, and analysis on state and local fiscal issues. Testify before state legislatures and deliver presentations to state organizations, and work with legislators and legislative commissions to develop state-specific tax reform options (have testified in more than two dozen states). Research and write about state tax policy issues, including responsibility for signature Tax Foundation publications like the State Business Tax Climate Index, the International Tax Competitiveness Index, Location Matters, and (formerly) Facts & Figures, as well as state-specific studies. Serve as a resource for journalists on tax policy issues. Analysis has been featured in media outlets across the country, including the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, Politico, Reuters, the Associated Press, the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Chicago Tribune, the Boston Globe, PolitiFact, Bloomberg News, and other major outlets. Television appearances include CBS Sunday Morning, BBC World\'s GMT, C-SPAN\'s Washington Journal, MSNBC, CNBC, CNBC Asia, and Fox Business.
