Summary “We do not inherit the planet from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.” With that in mind, I’ve built a progressive career of identifying best practices that fuel sustainability and asset management through sustainable development and retrofits. My superpower is assessing challenges and developing strategies that turn operational inefficiencies into opportunities for improvement.The most successful operations come from a positively motivated staff. To that end, I’ve guided 25 energy managers and HVAC mechanics through change management initiatives to mitigate environmental pollution through the release of greenhouse gasses. The reduced utilities resulted in significant savings. By focusing on capital planning, life cycle analysis, project management, and increasing asset value, my team and I were able to maximize company-wide sustainability tactics – including rolling out automation systems, utility reporting, company wide sub-metering initiatives, BIPV and PV installations, heat recovery and most recently, carbon capture.In an ever-changing world, keeping up with technology and automation processes just makes sense. With everything from BACnet based automation systems, LED lighting, and water retrofits, whole systems can be updated to save money. I’ve even had the distinct pleasure of leading many company wide projects across 200+ buildings.
