About Jared Raskin

Growing up in South Florida, I’ve always been passionate about sports, even if my own athletic career ended early. That led me to Penn State, where I shifted from pre-med to journalism and sports studies, spending three years with Penn State Athletics Marketing and Penn State Football and serving as Drumline Captain in the Blue Band. I earned my master’s in Sport Management and Policy from the University of Georgia while working as a Graduate Assistant with The Georgia Bulldog Club, supporting fundraising and marketing for five annual funds totaling $30M+ and providing front-line support for donors. Previously, I served as Assistant Director of Athletics Annual Giving at Georgetown University, helping develop and execute multi-channel fundraising strategies to drive donor support, retention, and acquisition. In April of 2026, I joined the University of South Carolina Athletic Department as Assistant Director of External Operations for the Gamecock Club. As a reliable, self-driven professional, I enjoy building donor relationships and creating unique fundraising strategies, and my initiative and motivation make me an asset to any organization.
