About Jared L. Miller

Coach Jared Miller is an ambassador for Christ, a proven & passionate visionary and servant leader, and an experienced developer of people and programs who brings diverse coaching & leadership experience to Athletes in Action Basketball. Miller has coaching experience in a few other sports but has coached basketball since 2002 at various levels. Instrumental in elevating Mountain Mission School (VA) to national prominence, Jared has also coached at Sunrise Christian Academy (KS), & Tri City Christian Elite (NC). Finding his niche with international players since 2013, he has coached over 50 college athletes, 25+ division 1 basketball players (including a McDonald\'s All American, unanimous NCAA player of the year, & an NCAA National Champion), and 2 current NBA players (including a draft lottery pick and NBA Champion). Several alumni from Miller\'s programs have enjoyed professional careers overseas. For most of these student-athletes he also facilitated their coming to play in the US. This vast & diverse experience has allowed Jared to build many relationships within the basketball community. In his four years at AIA, Jared has co-founded and served as an assistant coach for the Athletes in Action Prep Academy, co-founded the Total Athlete Tip-Off and the Total Athlete Multinational Experience, and represents AIA as a constituent to USA Basketball. He is currently launching Christmas at the Wooden, an NAIA basketball tournament to be held at the Wooden Family Fieldhouse in December, and collaborating with Coach Jeff Friday on the development of the Next Destination Training program.\"Erin & I are thrilled that God has led us back to Ohio to serve as full time missionaries with Athletes in Action after nearly a decade out of state in Christian school administration and athletics.
