ABOUT JARED KRICHEVSKY

As a designer, I\'ve got 13 years of industry experience designing iconic characters and creatures for Film, Television, Games, and Commercials. I love being a collaborative part of the creative process and coming up with unique designs for a wide range of projects and art directions. I\'m a Zbrush instructor at Gnomon School of Visual Effects with 10 years of teaching experience and a member of IATSE Local #892 as a Costume Illustrator. Primary Skills:* Translating the vision for the film from concept to finished presentation. This is done through the use of drawings and paintings (including rough sketches, cleaned up renderings, tonals, sculpture and digital imagery).* Creating character and environment concepts, color scripts, color keys, lighting studies, mood paintings and production illustrations.* Proficiency in drawing (including human and animal anatomy), design, perspective, composition, painting, environment sketching and design, figure drawing, technical drawing, lighting and color theory as it pertains to feature film design.* Expert in the use of Photoshop/ Zbrush as well as traditional painting/rendering techniques.* Excellent communication skills, ability to take direction, and accept critical review of work. Implementing feedback promptly and professionally.* Collaborating with the Directors, Producers, VFX Supervisors, Art Directors, Writers, Marketing and PR teams, providing key materials, including but not limited to, key concept, sketches, 3d maquettes, hard surface, full illustrations, 3d assets, 3d prints, and various marketing materials.* Extensive portfolio with examples of current, hands-on work, including concept art, production designs, storyboards and other visual images that demonstrate complex artistic goals in simple to follow visual images.* Works independently and conscientiously with minimal supervision. Deliverables on time and on budget.* Strong understanding of general 3D and art production techniques.* Primary Softwares Include: Zbrush, Keyshot, Photoshop, Maya, Marmoset Toolbag, Blender, Substance Painter, etc.
