Great security isn\'t a stack of tools — it\'s a business discipline. That belief has shaped how I\'ve led cyber programs for more than two decades across financial services, retail, healthcare, and manufacturing. Today, as CISO at a $20B global manufacturer, I lead a 50+ person cyber organization and a $30M budget. We\'re building one of the industry\'s first Agentic SOC programs — rewiring detection, triage, and response around AI agents rather than headcount. The result has been meaningful reductions in MTTD and MTTR alongside a 10–20% reduction in program spend. Along the way I\'ve briefed boards and audit committees, partnered directly with regulators (OCC, Federal Reserve, PCI QSAs, external auditors), and navigated high-pressure M&A integrations and corporate separations where security had to be production-ready on day one.
