ABOUT JARED ELROY

After graduating from the University of Utah with a degree in Finance and an emphasis in Advanced Financial Analysis, I discovered a strong passion for commercial real estate. I began my career at CBRE in the Research Department, where I developed a solid foundation in market analysis and gained hands-on experience interpreting data from various sources to generate insights that supported strategic business decisions.Currently, I serve as an Asset Manager in the Special Servicing department at A10 Capital. In this role, I analyze property operations and financials—including rent rolls, operating statements, budgets, and bank records—to assess performance and identify risks. I conduct in-depth evaluations of loan collateral and determine asset value, perform market research on assigned loans, and collaborate with third-party consultants such as attorneys, brokers, receivers, property managers, and appraisers. I also prepare quarterly asset status reports and develop cash flow projections to support portfolio management. This role has significantly deepened my understanding of the commercial real estate lifecycle, especially in distressed and transitional assets. I’ve gained valuable insights into asset recovery strategies, loan restructuring, and the broader dynamics of real estate finance. It has sharpened my analytical skills, strengthened my ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships, and enhanced my strategic thinking in high-stakes environments.During my free time, I can be found either on the water wake surfing or on the golf course. In addition, I enjoy spending quality time with my golden retriever puppy Brodie, as well as my close friends and family.Skills/Interests: Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Hard-worker and extremely dedicated to a task once I put my mind to it. Outgoing and personable, I believe that life is better when working with others.
