As the COVID Relief advisor for the Indiana Small Business Development Center and Community Navigator Pilot Program, I help small businesses with COVID relief and recovery efforts in West Central Indiana. I am proud to be part of the team that has already helped bring over $6 Million to struggling Wabash Valley businesses through funding and services. I am also proud to be part of the team that created the Intentional Outreach Network - a Community Navigator program from the SBA focused on providing SBA services to underrepresented entrepreneurs in our area. This $1 Million grant helps strengthen our partnership with local organizations such as the Pride Center, The Chamber of Commerce, the Base Council, and Launch Terre Haute among others. The funding also helped us hire business advisors that belong to the underrepresented populations we\'re trying to serve. To date, we\'ve hired an LGBTQIA+ advisor, a black business advisor, a veteran entrepreneur, and a rural business advisor who has spent 30 years mentoring and supporting rural small business owners.
