About Jared James
I am an experienced Senior Financial Analyst with a demonstrated history working in international development: to me, finances matter insofar as they serve people. I have an MPA focused in finance and international development from American University in Washington DC. I have over 8 years\' experience working in nonprofit organizations, including- business proposal creation for varying donors (USAID, DFAT (formerly AusAID), Gates, DFID and more)- project management, including complying with FAR and DFAT regulations- financial analysis across a broad range of clients and contract types- interacting directly with clients on contractual, operational, and financial issues. Further, I have several years\' international experience in Calcutta, India and Jakarta, Indonesia, which I greatly enjoyed and have grown personally and professionally from. I\'m always interested to hear from international development practitioners doing great work.
