ABOUT JARED BAROL
I’m a go-to-market and RevOps leader with 15+ years of experience driving international expansion, scaling operations, and leading GTM transformation across startups, enterprise, and private equity-backed businesses. I’ve built companies from scratch, led strategy for some of the world’s largest enterprises at Salesforce, and helped turn around underperforming teams and processes. I thrive at the intersection of strategy and execution—especially when growth is complex, cross-functional, or global.I began my career as an entrepreneur, launching businesses across Europe—from import/export operations to a consulting firm focused on international expansion. We helped companies launch in new markets by documenting processes, deploying systems like Salesforce, supporting fundraising, and acting as in-market sales or country leaders. I personally led entries into several countries, overseeing everything from hiring and early revenue to operational setup. After nearly a decade abroad—including time in Moscow, Berlin, and Tel Aviv—I returned to the Bay Area and enrolled in the part-time MBA program at Berkeley Haas. Midway through my first year, I joined Salesforce as a solution engineer and was quickly promoted to manage a team supporting Chevron, Shell, BP, and Exxon—accounts representing hundreds of millions in ARR.While in that role, I saw the disconnect between what product built, marketing promoted, and sales delivered. I proposed a unified strategy approach and soon joined the Salesforce Industries leadership team. There, I built industry blueprints aligning customer needs with GTM and product strategy across 33 sectors—cutting time-to-sell by 20%, reducing planning effort by 65%, and doubling international revenue.Following Salesforce, I joined Reputation.com (a Marlin Equity portfolio company) as VP of GTM Strategy & Operations, where I led a GTM turnaround that improved sales attainment by 30% and doubled rep productivity. Most recently, I served as VP of GTM Strategy, Operations & Business Operations at Copy.ai, supporting GTM and strategic execution during a period of rapid scaling.
