About Jared Susco
Jared Susco (he/him) brings a wealth of experience in fiscal operations, financial management, human resources, and organizational administration to both for-profit and not-for-profit settings. Having been selected as one of the area’s top CFOs by Philadelphia Business Journal, Jared has served in inaugural roles for startups and taken over in turnaround situations for institutions. While he started his career in the for-profit sector in food manufacturing, he found his calling in using the tools of finance and management to support the people of not-for-profits in achieving their missions. Jared was featured as a protagonist in a case written by Harvard University for the innovative use of business techniques and acumen to drive program performance, project execution, and organizational governance. He finds personal passion in the work of diversity and inclusion: he has served as a local and national leader with LGBTQ+ employee resource groups, and he helped found the committees for interfaith and people-of-color inclusion at his synagogue. As a member of both the queer and disabled communities, Jared is a passionate advocate for the inclusion of invisibilities. While he enjoyed living abroad in Paraguay and Israel, Jared makes his home in Philadelphia, where he lives in a 215-year-old row home with his husband and daughter. Outside of work, Jared enjoys hiking, traveling, and singing, and he participates as a board member and active congregant with his synagogue.
