ABOUT JARED S. SAMPSON

As the Director of Pride Events at JJLA, I manage a distinguished portfolio of events dedicated to serving LGBTQ Pride organizations. My role involves strategic development and the expansion of service offerings in this specialized area. With over 19 years of extensive experience in marketing, business, and event management, I\'ve collaborated with renowned names in the entertainment industry, including The Walt Disney Company, Feld Entertainment, and the NFL. Beyond my professional endeavors, I am deeply committed to sharing my knowledge and expertise. Currently serving as an adjunct instructor and keynote speaker on the CAMPUSPEAK roster, I impart insights through courses covering marketing, business, e-commerce, sports sales and promotions, and social media marketing. My speaking engagements touch on vital topics such as leadership, diversity, inclusion, and empowerment. In addition to my professional roles, I have recently been offered the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, contributing to the advancement and representation of LGBTQ+ professionals in the business community. In pursuit of continuous growth, I am working towards my MS in Digital Marketing. Along my journey, I have received various honors and awards, including the Equality Award from the Human Rights Campaign, New Orleans 40 Under 40 recognition, and a recent acknowledgment from Event Market Experiential for their Color + Pride in Events feature. This spotlight recognized experience builders who are not only a part of but also identify with the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. I am passionate about creating meaningful experiences and fostering positive change within these communities.
