I am responsible for drafting effective messaging/communication strategies for MI Republican legislators. Currently, I am assigned to four House committees: Regulatory Reform, Insurance, Oversight, and Military and Veterans Affairs. I follow closely with the legislation sent to my designated committees and develop message points, draft press releases, op-eds, floor speeches and columns for the representative sponsoring that ordinance. On top of that, I maintain relationships with statewide and district media contacts in order to give our legislators as much media coverage as possible and to provide the media with newsworthy content. I act as the middleman when it comes to setting up interviews with representatives, radio podcasts, etc. and help provide the logistics in that process.
