Claims Director with a history of building operations that have a direct impact on company profitability and policyholder cost avoidance. Over the last 10 years, I have built and grown the Claim Services operation to become a critical partner with Underwriting and Loss Control in the development of new business, implementation of new Middle Market and Loss Sensitive policyholders and retention of accounts. My direct purview includes the management of large multi-state/multi-location loss sensitive policyholders requiring in-depth knowledge of national compliance, claim management and managed care issues. I lead our national resolution programs with a keen focus on the impact of Medicare compliance on claim mitigation. Working closely with key vendor partners in the Medicare compliance space, the time to settlement has been decreased while achieving significant settlement cost avoidance. I have built a culture of constant curiosity across my teams. I create an environment that allows my teams to communicate freely and learn from each other while being mission-driven.
