About Jared Oren
Jared is currently an HR and Talent Leader at Fortive, leading Executive Onboarding and our General Manager Development Program, which counts our former CEO and several Presidents as alumni. Most recently, he was an HR Business Partner for the corporate team. He joined Fortive in January 2020 to lead the build-out of its executive search capability across the enterprise. Fortive now has a fully built-out executive recruiting team and capability that has driven exceptional results at scale. Including his time with Fortive, Jared was in executive recruiting for 12 years. After getting his MBA, Jared spent 6+ years at Heidrick & Struggles, a global executive search firm, and then joined a boutique firm founded by a leading Venture Capital organization, Earlier in his career, Jared worked at Accenture as a change management consultant in the public sector practice.

Asked by our CHRO and VP of Talent to build out a new centralized program for immersing our new leaders over the course of their first year with Fortive. o Developed a framework centered on getting all new executives to decision-readiness by Day 90, with a focus on developing the right level of operating culture knowledge, influence and followership, confidence and empowerment to make strategic decisions. o Created new standard work to support the goals of the program, including an “Onboarding Dossier”, a curated, single-source reference guide designed to help a new executive quickly understand the company, their role, what is expected of them and organizational context.
